Our parkland course on the Wirral of 6457 yds (SSS 71) offers a challenge for golfers of all abilities. Owing to the course assets and fantastic condition we pride ourselves on being regularly picked for county level golf and competitions.
Prenton Golf Club is proud to host a number of open competition throughout the year. Come and enjoy our course whilst experiencing the thrill of a competition atmosphere. All our events are supported by our dedicated restaurant staff who are always on hand to make sure you are fully refreshed and ready for your round. All applicants should be members of a golf club affiliated to CONGU and able to prove possession of an Active Handicap.

The Festival of Golf is held every year in June. This is a great week at Prenton and many golfers from other Clubs support the weeks events.

There are many different memberships offered at Prenton Golf Club to suit all ages and preferences. From full membership for the competitive golfers who want to play in competitions to lifestyle memberships for people who just want to play for fun. We cater for juniors through to the veterans. Golf Girls Rock through to the ladies section. We also have social membership for people who just want to use the club facilities.
A scenic parkland course of 6429 yds (SSS 71) situated near to Birkenhead, with splendid views to the west across the Wirral Peninsular with Welsh mountains in the distance – and yet we are so close to the cities of Liverpool and Chester. Our fine Club had its Centenary in 2005 which we celebrated in style; a year of glittering social functions and successful competitions in which Members, Visitors and Guests truly enjoyed the facilities both on the course and in our stylish refurbished Clubhouse.See Our Course
